Exploring the potential of generative AI in education: a chatbot for learning Graphic Expression

Objective: This project’s objective is to explore the possibilities that the introduction of generative AI offers in education.
To achieve this, an innovative teaching methodology is proposed, based on a flipped classroom model, where the subject’s theoretical contents are always available and reinforced with the help of a chatbot. A virtual assistant will be trained for guiding the self-learning of the theoretical content of a first-year subject. A secondary goal of the project is to obtain and evaluate the impact of the initiative on student learning through surveys at the beginning and end of the educational experience. The results will be statistically analyzed and subsequently disseminated through presentations at conferences and seminars, as well as publication in specialized journals.
