Few universities have been successful in transmitting knowledge to companies and society, and fewer in creating a system where knowledge flows in both directions. The development of new capacities for innovation and entrepreneurship in universities is vital for the development of countries.. We no longer work only with the triple helix, we work with civil society, with a prosocial approach, which allows effective technology transfer with and for the beneficiaries. The aim is to strengthen a culture of innovation in the academic community, which has already begun through the work carried out by the GESIT network, financed by CyTED. GESIT partners and new national networks (Peru and Guatemala) participate here.
