Maria Rosa Massa
Maria Rosa Massa is a Mathematician and holds a PhD in Mathematics. She is a Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).
She teaches mathematics and history of mathematics at the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB, UPC) and at the School of Mathematics and Statistics (FME, UPC).
Her main topics of research are the development and circulation of calculus in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Europe; the courses of mathematics in the context of Spanish military education in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries; and the connection between history of mathematics and mathematics education.
